Verizon (VZ) getting a lift from Warren Buffett. Verizon is up 4% after it was disclosed last night Berkshire Hathaway invested $8 billion in the stock last quarter. Bristol Myers and Chevron are both up 2% as Berkshire invested billions in those two stocks as well. Three great dividend stocks.

Profit-taking in Avis Budget (CAR). Car rental company, Avis is down 5% after a big run up from the pandemic lows. Avis easily beat expectations even as sales fell 37% year over year. To cut costs, Avis removed roughly 250,000 vehicles from their global fleet since last spring.
