Diamonds and Dogs

Spring is coming. A regional amusement park operator, Cedar Fair (FUN) is up 3% following earnings and a forecast for a fun-filled season in 2021. From a landmark 150th anniversary celebration at one of its signature parks to a full lineup of new thrill rides and events, Cedar Fair is expected to hire 45,000 seasonal people.

Ulta Beauty (ULTA) not so pretty. The cosmetics retailer is down 8% following earnings and the announcement their CEO, Mary Dillon will step down. Dillon's decision to step down is likely a surprise to many, and a potential source of worry for investors, given how successful her tenure has been. Ulta stores and loyalty members more than doubled under her watch in the past eight years.
