Ford (F) at a seven year high following earnings. Ford easily beat expectations reporting sold cash flow. Ford raised guidance and reinstated their dividend of 10 cents a share coming in the fourth quarter. The dividend had been suspended since March 2020. Looking forward, Ford believes they have a spring-loaded future as they emerge from the chip shortage and COVID constraints.

Altria (MO) up in smoke. The cigarette maker is down 6% to an eight month low following a miss in earnings as revenues fell 2.6% to $5.53 billion. Ironically, cigarette sales increased in 2020 for the first time in 20 years. A trend that doesn't look to continue. Cigarette smoking remains the leading cause in preventable disease and death in the US. .
