Dogs of the Dow are acting great. Former Dow component, AT&T (T) and current component, Boeing (BA) are both up 3% following tax loss selling from December and the "January effect" takes hold allowing new investors to snap up these possible value stocks to start the New Year.

Profit-taking in the vaccine stocks. Pfizer (PFE) is down 3% even though they received some good news today. The FDA has given approval to adolescents age 12-15 to receive a booster shot five months after their second dose. The decision comes as schools scramble to assemble testing supplies for children returning after the winter break. It also comes as the omicron variant rages across the U.S. and world.
