DISH Network (DISH) jumping on takeover rumors. The stock is up 4% on reports that the satellite TV company is in talks with competitor DirecTV. The satellite television providers have been in talks on and off for years. Anti-trust concerns from the Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department have kept the two companies from merging. Regulators squashed a proposed deal back in 2002.Both companies have seen the number of their paying customers dwindle along the years amid growing streaming competition.

Philips (PHG) still struggling with supply chain issues. The Dutch health conglomerate known for brands like Sonicare toothbrushes and Norelco shavers is down 15% today and down nearly 50% since last Spring. Philips said they see strong demand for products and solutions with all-time high order book, but see a shortage of electronics components and limited freight capacity along with postponement of equipment installations in hospitals.
