Salesforce (CRM) jumps 13% following earnings. At least one Dow component is higher as cloud software demand remains strong. Expectations were low as many software firms have struggled of late. Salesforce highlights include 19% year-over-year organic growth, 20% sales cloud growth and strong free cash flow performance, though weakness in data cloud.

CEO comments hit the markets. JP Morgan Chase (JPM) is down 2% as their CEO told a room of analysts there is an economic hurricane on the horizon and advised investors to brace themselves. The CEO said, JPMorgan is bracing for the storm being more conservative with their balance sheet.
