Ford (F) having a good day. Ford Motor is up 5% to a two month high following strong earnings as sales rose 38% to $36.8 billion. Ford is hiking their dividend 50% to 15 cents a quarter, ending the quarter with $29 billion in cash. Ford also introduced a F-150 electric truck for cops called, Lightning.

Comcast (CMCSA) struggling. The largest US cable giant is down 8% as second quarter earnings showed no new Internet subscribers.  Earnings did beat, bit did fall year over year. Sales rose 5% to $40 billion. In the second quarter, Comcast spent $2.4 billion on capital expenditures, $3.0 billion on stock buybacks, and $1.2 billion on dividend payments. The stock currently yields 2.5% annually.
