Kroger (KR) reports strong earnings. The grocery stock is up 6% thanks to strong earnings, raised guidance and plans for a $1 billion share buyback. Kroger's private labels reported strong demand as consumers look to save money where they can. The stock is back to a three month high. 

National Beverage fizzles following earnings. The beverage company known for their active and health-conscious consumer drinks including sparkling waters, energy drinks, and juices under the LaCroix name is down 8% today after missing earnings and sales numbers. After a nice bounce off the June lows, the stock has dropped 20% moving back toward those June lows.
