Peloton (PTON) jumps on take over rumors. The exercise bike company that rode high during the pandemic has crashed back to earth over the last several years as people went back outside to work out. Today the stock jumped on private equity rumors to take it private which is exactly where it belongs.

The Dow and S&P 500 gains were kept in check by a 9% decline in Disney (DIS) shares after the media and entertainment giant posted a slight revenue miss but exceeded quarterly earnings expectations. The company has a path to profitability in the streaming wars, but it will take time.
