Banks are bouncing back. Regional bank, Truist (TFC) is up 3% on earnings. Last week KeyCorp and M&T Bank reported better than expected earnings. Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab are at 52 week highs even as interest rates remain stubbornly high.  

Verizon (VZ) and telecoms still not bouncing. Verizon is down 4% even as they beat earnings and provided in-line guidance. Verizon did lose 158,000 users in its consumer wireless postpaid phone business in the first three months of 2024. Verizon's Business Group added a net 90,000 postpaid phone users.
