Omeros Corporation (OMER)

Omeros Corporation is trading higher today, up 42.83% to $16.54. The biopharmaceutical company saw its shares soar after being granted pass-through reimbursement status from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Omeros' drug, Omidria (for use during cataract surgery), which received FDA approval earlier this year, will now be accepted my Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursement. This is a big step for Omeros' drug. Shares of climbed around $5.00 today, but are still off of their 52-week high of $18.80.

Niska Gas Storage Partners LLC (NKA)

Niska Gas is imploding today, down 36.43% to $7.25. The natural gas storage company saw its shares burn up after a big miss on earnings. For the quarter, Niska management announced a loss of $0.78 per share, which was an astonishing $0.31 per shares lower than analysts were expecting. Furthermore, the company announced that revenues fell 72% year over year to $10.59 million; which again significantly missed analysts' estimates of $33 million. Shares of Niska fell over $4.00 today, and set a new 52-week low of $6.85.
