Technical Communications Corporation (TCCO)

Technical Communications is securing a profit today, up 41.20% to $5.66. The security devices and system company saw its shares pop after news of a contract with Egypt. Technical Communications announced late yesterday that it signed a contract with the government of Egypt for $3.3 million dollars for the company's DSD 72A-SP military bulk encryption systems. The deal amounts to nearly half of the company's current revenue. Shares of Technical Communications is up over $1.60 today but still off of their 52-week high of $8.89.

Brown-Forman Corporation (BF-B)

Brown-Forman is drowning itself today, down 4.44% to $91.74. The alcoholic beverage company saw its shares sell off after worse than expected earnings and guidance. For the quarter, revenue came in at $877 million or an EPS of $0.97, both of which missed analysts' estimates of $896 million and $1.05 respectively. Brown-Forman also downgraded its earnings guidance for 2015 to $3.15$3.35 per share, compared to $3.25$3.45 per share projected earlier. Shares of the company fell over $4.00 today but are still well above their 52-week low of $72.50.
