Boeing (BA) leading the Dow higher. The top Dow component year to date is up a percent to a new all-time high thanks to an upgrade at JP Morgan. The analyst is bullish on the entire aircraft industry thanks in part to efforts by Boeing to shape the sector. The firm sees Boeing's efforts potentially leading to stronger performances among its peers. The new price target is $240 a share.

Banks under pressure today. The financials have performed well of late after passing their Fed stress tests and boosting their dividends, but JP Morgan (JPM), Wells Fargo (WFC), and Citigroup (C ) are lower by a percent or more following good, but not stellar earnings reports. Going forward the financials should resume their upward trend, but today investors are taking profits.
