GM looks electric. General Motors (GM) is up 4% to new highs as the company announced it intends to achieve a zero emissions future with two new all-electric models in the next 18 months and at least 20 all-electric models launched by 2023. Rival, Tesla is trading lower.

Western Digital (WDC) is down 3% today and down 12% in the last two months as the company seemed perfectly poised to buy Toshiba's multibillion-dollar flash memory business, but in the last minute Bain Capital put together an $18 billion consortium offer including technology players Apple Inc., Dell, SK Hynix, Seagate and Japan's Hoya Corp.
