Just Spend the Money

The three major averages finished higher today while the small cap Russell index was lower in slow holiday trading.  Our diamond  is Delta who re-affirmed numbers and got the attention of Wall Street. Our dog goes to MSG, the owner of the hapless New York Knicks, which is down about 13% this year.  At its low yesterday, MSG networks was down about $126 million in market cap, which is more than half what their Brooklyn neighbors offered Kevin Durant.  

Diamonds and Dogs market commentary is a journal of daily observations on anything that happens to be of interest to our author. Obviously, our primary focus is the stock market and world economic events, but for this page we have no defined topics.
