Slack Technologies (WORK) is no slacker. The cloud software stock is up 35% on rumors Dow component, Salesforce.com has been in talks to buy the firm. An acquisition of Slack would be the largest by San Francisco-based Salesforce since its $15.7 billion buy of Tableau Software in 2019. Salesforce.com may want Slack to competite better with rival, Microsoft.

Double downgrade for Canadian Goose (GOOS). The winter coat/parka maker is down 8% as an analyst downgraded the stock to a, Sell saying a revenue ramp into the holidays has not materialized thus far putting the company at risk of missing consensus estimates. Goose relies on the fourth quarter holiday season to generate all of their yearly profits.
