Wynn Resorts (WYNN) starts the new year to the upside.  Wynn is up 3% on an upgrade as an analyst expects a rebound in business in Macau as China disbands their zero-COVID policy. China will be a big story in 2023 as they try to reopen their economy. The world will also be watching China regarding their threats to invade Taiwan as they believe the country should be a part of China.

Apple (AAPL) and Tesla (TSLA) may want to go back to 2022. Apple is falling 3% while Tesla is down 12%. Apple is lower after modestly cutting production of a number of their products causing concerns among their investors. Tesla had a great year in 2022 based on business as vehicle deliveries grew 40% year over year to 1.31 million while production grew 47% to 1.37 million. However, the stock was downgraded on concerns of slowing business.
