Moderna (MRNA) is higher by 6% to a three month high on positive vaccine data for a certain type of head and neck melanoma cancer in a mid-stage study. Moderna is working with Merck in the vaccine. Merck is actually lower on the day.

Nvidia (NVDA) is down 3% today as rival Intel unveils a new AI chip taking direct aim Nvidia's most popular AI chip. Intel will also price the chip well below the cost of Nvidia's current and future chips. Intel is only modestly higher today.
