Abbott Labs (ABT) jumps 4% on better than expected earnings. Revenues rose 4.0% to $10.36 billion. The company reaffirmed guidance as tariffs don't seem to be affecting the medical device makers at least not yet. Abbott's diversified business model so far has maintained its growth in 2025.

Tariffs taking a hit on the chipmakers. Nvidia (NVDA) and AMD (AMD) are lower by 5% or more as they both take write-downs for tariff and reduced business in China. Nvidia will take a $5.5 billion charge due to inventory write-downs and canceled sales with China. AMD will take a $800 write down for export restrictions.
