Plenty of earnings today. Honeywell (HON) rises 4% after beating earnings by 30 cents as sales rose 8% to $9.82 billion. Honeywell also provided inline guidance even as 43% of its revenue comes from outside the U.S., including mainland China. Honeywell continues to work on Quantinum, their stand-alone quantum computing business.

Tough time for oil. British Petroleum (BP) is down 3% after missing earnings estimates as sales fell 4% to $46.91 billion. Tariffs and the uncertainty of the tariffs have slowed global demand. The company will also reduce their share buy back to preserve cash even though the stock is not far from a 52 week low.
