Generac (GNRC) higher following earnings. The generator company easily beat estimates as sales rose 16% to $1.2 billion. Management capitalized on the strong demand for portable generators when there were power outages in the second half of the year in the US. Power outage hours in the U.S. were the highest since 2010.

Apple (AAPL) not contributing to this historic rally. The tech titan is down 4% even as they beat estimates as sales rose 5% year over year to $95.36 billion. Regarding guidance, CEO Tim Cook flagged a $900 million tariff hit this quarter and quietly trimmed Apple's stock buyback program by $10 billion a rare move that signals a more defensive stance from a company known for pouring cash into shareholders' pockets. Apple will also accelerate its shift away from China, building more iPhones in India and sourcing chips from Arizona and Texas.
