Uber Technologies (UBER) expands deal with 1-800-Flowers.com (FLWS) ahead of Monther's Day. Uber's stock is up a percent not far from a 52 week high as their partnership with 1-800-Flowers with work with gifts directly to the Uber Eats app—just in time for Mother's Day. Uber's stock is up over 30% year to date as another trend going forward is driverless Uber cars with technology from Waymo.
End of an era as Warren Buffett will step down as CEO at Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-B). The stock is down 4% following earnings and their annual meeting. The 94 year old will remain as Chairman, handing the reigns over to 62 year old, Greg Abel. Under Warren Buffets control, Berkshire stock rose an annual 20% since 1965 verse the S&P 500 10% annual retuns, making investors 40,000 times their money over the last six decades. A $1,000 investment in Berkshire Hathaway in 1965, when Warren Buffett took control, would be worth an estimated $42.5 million today.
