Groupon (GRPN) having a good day. The digital coupon company is up 38% after beating by 29 cents, turning a profit as sales beat expectations as well coming in at $117million. The company is based in Chicago where our new Pope is from. Management said North America billings accelerated double digits, building momentum to accelerate growth.

Tariffs have not helped Cleveland Cliffs (CLF) yet. The US steelmaker is down 14% after missing estimates, losing money while sales fell 11%. Going forward, Cliffs will idle a number of facilities, reducing output from others and cut capital spending to preserve cash and improve efficiencies. Longer term the tariffs should help, but it doesn't look to be anytime soon.
